Maggie and Madison!

My Maggie and Madison turned 3 this past October. October 6th to be exact. I thought somehow them turning 3 would change the trying 2's. Yeah that didn't happen. Trying 2's turned into Trying 3's x2!! lol. These little girls can keep you on your feet! They are loud, crazy, loud, silly, fun, adorable, different, and loud.

Both have very different personalities. And actually the older they get the more they do not look alike either! Everyone swears they do, but I don't think they look alike at all. Like sisters, but nothing like twins. I love it though. I like that they are they own person!

The both of them have Michael's initials. MCW. It is tradition for the first born to be a Jr. in their family. Well seeing that he got 2 girls in stead of a boy, they got his initials instead of name ;)

Maggie Christine White is named Maggie after Michael's Grandmother and my mother, both Margaret's. Christine is his mothers name.
Madison Courtney-Renee White is named Madison bc we both loved that name and it started with a M! Courtney is Michael's dad's name, and Renee is Michael's cousin (more like sisters) middle name.
It's funny because they both kind of act like the people they are named after!

I will start with Maggie Christine. She is the 'oldest'. Maggie is a sweetheart. She is my cuddler, my cryer, my 'get her feelings hurt easy' one. She is a go with the flow kind of girl. Her sister is kind of the opposite so that works out! I usually have to ask her what she wants first bc if not she will just agree with anything Madison says. lol. However when she does want something, she wants it. And there is NO turning back. Maggie can be VERY loud. Like high pitch cover your ears kind of loud! But she also quiets the easiest. 2 minutes of crying, and she just needs a hug and she is over it!
Maggie is also the tallest of the 2. Almost a whole inch bigger, and 1/2 lb heavier. She has blue eyes, and spiral rig let curls! She has a HUGE smile and loves to take pictures for mommy!
She can be the hyper one. Once she is on a roll its smiles, laughs, screams, and running!
She is also more of the girly girl. She will choose 'church' shoes over tennis shoes any day!
She runs fast, and can throw the heck out of a ball. I am hoping for a softball player ;)
She also is a little gymnast. She runs across the floor, does a flip over on her head then an immediate back bend. It will scare the crap out of you! lol but she loves it! While Daddy wants to do boxing for them, and I thinking they will probably join Abby and Aaliyah in gymnastics soon!

Madison Courtney-Renee. My hand full. She too is a sweetheart and loves her mommy! Loves to cuddle with me. Actually I wake up 2-3 times a week with her laying on top on me sound asleep. lol. She is also the crazy child. BY FAR the most difficult child out of all 4 of them. I am thinking bc she is the baby? She has a very strong personality like her daddy. She knows what she wants, when she wants it, how to get it, and don't you dare get in her way! She will fall out in a temper tantrum in .05 seconds if you tell her NO! She gets in trouble more than anyone in the house. However she is also the most intellectual. Girl holds a conversation like a 10 year old. She talks in paragraphs, asks the right questions. When something doesn't make sense to her she simply says "that's stupid". Seriously trying to break that habit! She is a smarty. Smarty pants sometimes too ;)
While Madison is the shortest, she makes up for it in hair! She has the longest hair of anyone in the house! When I wash it goes past her booty, but once I gel it and it curls up it sit in middle of her back. She has big beautiful brown eyes, bushy eye brows and lovely long eyelashes. Her features are more darker than Maggie's but she carries them well, I love it! She is like a little Indian. She also asks for 2 braids like a little Indian everyday too!!
She will make Daddy proud as a boxer I am sure. She has the perfect personality for it. She wants to wear tennis shoes, everyday, even to church. She likes to pick her own clothes everyday. Normally it matches but she is always casual. While she can be very girly girl, I think she is more tomboy!

The two of them keep me on tippy toes all day long. There is no leaving them alone for a minute, they are everywhere! No more gates, they climb over them! They have been potty trained for a few months now and are awesome at it! We are still working on night time though. That has not been successful.
They love to play outside, love to go to Sam's grocery shopping. They are like celebrities there! Everyone remembers them from when they were babies!
Speaking of babies, they love babies!! Baby dolls and the real deal! They love love love to take care of their toys babies at home, and LOVE to see s real baby when we are out anywhere.
It makes me very sad they are growing up so fast! They are my last babies, and I am not ready to part with the baby days! Even though they are already far behind us! No more diapers, they brush their own teeth, potty themselves, even want to bathe themselves and wash their own hair!! They are slowly becoming independent, and while I am one proud momma, I am not ready for all that yet!

Patience is the word of the day, each and every day.

Daddy knows how to have fun, and give mommy and heart attack!

Little bit of those mood swings ;)
What happens when you leave them alone for a couple minutes, in the same room as your purse!

 On their 3rd Birthday!

 Minnie Mouse and Cinderella!

I think I have more photo fails than successes!

Princess Aaliyah

Since I have been away from blogging for so long, I thought it would be a good idea to catch up on all the family. Abby being the oldest was first. Check out previous post.
Up next is Aaliyah. The middle child.

I moved back home with my mom and sister when I was about 5 months pregnant. Smartest choice I ever made! Aaliyah has always been around my mom and my sister, so much that my sister is like her 2nd mom! She babysits them often and Aaliyah will be the first one to ask to go over there. Even if I am just going to the store she will ask to go sit with Bebe. (my sister) Who btw lives in the front of my neighborhood! 2nd smartest choice I've made! Being almost 4 when we moved, Aaliyah is very attached to her Nana and Bebe!!

Poor Aaliyah sometimes gets the short end of the stick. She is the little sister to Abigail, but the big sister to Maggie and Madison. However with Abby being a big sister also she kind of steals that glory. lol. I try to always make it fair, as much as I can. ;)

Aaliyah Raye (named after my favorite singer as a teen and my dad) is in 2nd grade this year. She turned 7 back in June making her just about 7 1/2 right now. 2nd grade has been her favorite so far! Making great grades! Mostly A's and a couple B's! During conferences I found out that Aaliyah is one of maybe 2-3 kids in her class who listens and follows directions. Apparently she was 'blessed' with a crazy class who can't sit still or stop talking. lol. Her teacher went on about how much of a big helper she is, and said she was her saving grace on most days. Aaliyah is the go to girl in her class! I LOVE that she is getting so much attention and is showing her awesomeness at school!! She will probably never forget this teacher!

Aaliyah is a princess. She can be just as sweet as she wants to be, at times. And then just as feisty as ever in the next minute. lol. She is my loud child. Aaliyah has been in speech since she was 2. However they just dropped her down to 30 min a month at school bc she no longer really needs it. When she first started she hardly spoke 1 word, she just screamed. Literally. Screamed. Now I am SO proud of how clearly she speaks!! She has never had an issue with school work and is WAY past her reading level for her grade period. So I will take the being 'loud' any day instead of a speech issue!

Aaliyah is a girly girl to the tee. She likes to be tom boyish like Abigail, but it is just so much more natural to be girly girly! She loves pink and purple, frills, puffy dresses, heals, purses, the whole nine. She is also a hug Justin Beiber fan! (Actually one of her HUGE Christmas presents this is to go see him with me in January!!! SHHHHH! Can't wait to see her face!!) We literally listen to Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, and One Direction 24/7. Thank goodness Abby likes most of that too!
Aaliyah also LOVES to sing. Like will belt out a note anytime type singing, whether or not it is the right note ;)

She had a hard time finding her 'thing'. While Abigail knew she was a cheerleader, Aaliyah had no idea what she wanted to do. We offered cheering, but she said she was too shy to get in front of everyone (yeah right!!) She played soccer last year, but didn't really like it. She ran around the whole game confused. This year she started gymnastics. And loves it! While Abby does the tumbling portion, Aaliyah is doing the real thing. Balance beams, bars, floor, the whole sha-bam!
She is pretty good at it too, already moved up 2 levels! I think we are going to stick with gymnastics for her. I try to talk her into trying softball, or basketball or something, but she has no interest!

Aaliyah is too growing super fast! Totally skipped a size 8/10 and jumped right into 10/12's. She is filling out everywhere. Feet too! Sometimes I look at her and think, what the heck happened! You were like 4 yesterday! lol.
She is a great big sister, and an annoying awesome little sister (whether or not big sis would agree).
She tends to be super lazy. Like will kick stuff under to bed before dreaming of placing in a laundry hamper (typical kid?) She is slow. As in takes a 30 min shower bc she stands there doing nothing the first 15 minutes. lol. Actually I do that too. On purpose. No one messes with you in the shower ;) However at 6:30 when getting ready for school, 30 min showers aren't cool! lol
She hates taking pictures. Actually sometimes she doesn't mind, but more than usual she will take off running or hiding when I pull out the camera. Then get mad when I make her smile. Like seriously all those beautiful pictures I have, are mostly fake smiles! lol She was threatened! haha j/k

Even though she is caught in the middle she is not to me, she is another portion of my world! Aaliyah Raye-  my little princess!!

Abigail- catching up on the Diva!

The Diva is her nick name, and there is reason!

Abigail turned 9 back in March, so she will be 10 in 4 months!!
She is 4th grade this year, and loving it!
I can not even begin to believe how she has grown up! Like the girl is in a size 7 woman's shoe! And she is as tall as my chin!!!
As well as the physical growth, the mental growth happened too!
I am waiting for her to 'start' she has been to several doctors about her hormone levels and issues. They originally told me she would be an early bloomer, and would most likely start about 10.
AH! I am not sure I am ready for that, so I have no problem waiting it out!
However, she has developed enough chest to require a bra daily, has to wear deodorant, and have to shave under her arms. Yeah. I know. By next summer we 'might' have to start the legs, I am just NOT comfortable with that!!
Anyways- point being, my little girl is ALL grown up! This time 10 years ago she was in my belly!

When naming Abigail, I didn't really care for the name Abigail at first, I though it sounded to cute and babyish. So I paired it with Monique. Abigail Monique. I loved it. Thought it gave her the perfect balance and the Monique added some spunk to the Abigail. Well she is such an Abby. Name fits her to a tee!! And the Monique has come back to haunt me. lol. She lives up to the spunk well!

Abby is an awesome kid. A big helper to me on a daily basis. She is also a very responsible, CLEAN, smart kid. Currently an honor roll student. (I say currently bc she is normally A's and B's). She hates having to share a room with Aaliyah bc, well, Aaliyah is NOT clean. Abby can't stand her stuff un-organized! She is very much looking forward to a room where she can decorate and organize to suit herself and not someone else. I can't blame her.

Abigail is NOT a pink girl. She hates pink. I can sometimes get her to wear something she already has that has pink on it, however when shopping for new stuff if there speck of pink on it she will say NO! lol. She loves blue, green, yellow, orange, even purple is ok. Just no pink.

She has also joined Chorus this year!! She loves music and loves to sing! I am telling you this is MY kid!! I too went through a 'no pink' phase and was in chorus, when it was mandated.
She used to be a Justin Beiber fan, but that went out the window fast. She said she didn't like his music anymore. Plus her little sister became obsessed. Kind of a turn off I guess. She loves all kinds of music! Mostly good stuff I can relate to! Kind of exciting being a young mom in that category. As I remember HATING all the music my mom listened too, until I got older and appreciated it!

In the past Abigail had cheered 2 years. This year we took a year off and started gymnastics/tumbling. She is in love. Wednesday can not get here fast enough every week. She looks forward to going SO much! She has learned so much too! They are currently working on back hand spring round offs, or something or another ;) She practices like EVERY day. Ever since the American girls won the Olympics she has been flipping and flopping all over the house!

Abigail's only problem is she wants to grow up TOO fast. I can relate to this, as I did the same. I try to not let her, and make her hold off on doing stuff. It is hard when 1/2 the kids in her class have their own phone and I say she has to be 12! But that I am holding my ground on! She wants to have artificial nails, we buy stick ons! She paints her own nails, wants to do her own hair, picks out her own clothes, basically gets by just fine without my opinion. Lucky for her, she still hears my opinions, and had to obey my rules!

I am very proud of the young lady she is quickly becoming. I wish I could pause the time sometimes. I am NOT ready for a kid in the double digit age group!! But it will be here before I know it!!

Abby wearing my friends shoes, fit perfect ;)
 Practicing hard!

There is a little of that "diva"
 She signed the pledge!
